What are the treatments? It depends on what area is being treated. It is common to apply a numbing agent to the area around 20 minutes prior the procedure. It is possible to experience some discomfort, but not pain, during the procedure. A local anesthesia, along with the numbing cream, will be used for deeper treatments. We recommend that you return to our office within 24 to 48 hours to receive further treatment. This includes any additional drainage of excess sebum. The treatment involves inserting an insulated needle in the fat pad or wrinkle to treat acne. Radio frequency is used to trigger the right number of pulses for each area.
What does it mean to recover? The first week may bring about some redness, swelling, and even bruising. You may feel numbness for as long as four weeks after deeper treatments. When will I see results? The treatment area may appear more severe than normal during the recovery period. The results of the procedure will be noticeable over time. You'll notice a marked improvement in the structure and appearance of the treated area. You can achieve maximum results from only one treatment. But not every procedure is the same. To achieve optimal results, you might need more than one procedure.
