Krug Park is found at the northern end Parkway St. Joseph in Saint Joseph. It has extensive landscaping and flowers, and features structures in the style of the Italian Renaissance. The park is a popular spot for both residents and visitors to the city. There are many things you can do in the park, including a nature walk, a playground and a café.

The Krug family donated 140 acres to the park and gave it its current size and shape in 1936. Over the years, many changes have been made to this park, such as the addition of a castle playground or a wading lake. The park also houses one of Northwest Missouri's largest outdoor light displays.

Krug Park was opened May 6, 1902. It is accessed via a stone gateway. The park featured alligators, exotic animals, and more. Old war cannons were also found in the park, as well as the Robidoux Cabin, which was claimed to belong to Joseph Robidoux.

Krug Park is a favorite attraction in St. Joseph. Krug Park turns into a magical, illuminated palace during the holidays. You can visit the park free of charge. To support upkeep and the creation of new exhibits, donations will be accepted. More than 100,000 people visit this park annually.
