Krug Park.

Krug Park is located in Saint Joseph at the northernmost end of Parkway St. Joseph. The park is known for its extensive landscaping, flowerbeds and structures that are inspired by the Italian Renaissance. This park is popular with both city residents and tourists. There are many things you can do in the park, including a nature walk, a playground and a café.

The Krug family donated 140 acres to the park and gave it its current size and shape in 1936. Over the years, several improvements have been made to the park, including a castle play area and a wading pool. One of the most impressive outdoor light displays in Northwest Missouri is located in the park.

Krug Park's entry is marked by a stone conservatory and a gateway. Krug Park opened its doors on May 6, 1902. There were also alligators and other exotic animals in the park. Old war cannons were also found in the park, as well as the Robidoux Cabin, which was claimed to belong to Joseph Robidoux.

Krug Park is a favorite attraction in St. Joseph. Krug Park is transformed into a magical lighted castle during holidays. You can visit the park free of charge. To help maintain the park and add new exhibits, donations are welcome. This park is visited annually by more than 100,000 people.
