    Pet Food Extrusion J-Six Enterprises

Fairview Mills also understands that it's often cheaper to store pet food and pet ingredients in bags than to transport them as loose, bulk products. Fairview Mills is one the many J-Six Enterprises divisions. We have the infrastructure to handle your bulk, loose pet food ingredients, and then bag them to your specifications. It's much easier to move your products from raw material to ready-to-use pet foods. For example, send us whole corn. Our team will load it, mill it, then package it according to your specifications. The next step in pet food processing is now that your raw corn has been processed.

    THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

If you plan to pack your pet food ingredients into bags and totes you need to make sure they are quality-controlled. To ensure that your pet food ingredients are properly packaged, we run each product through our analytics laboratory to check for moisture, nutrients, and other metrics. After that, we vigorously sift the ingredients, to eliminate as much chaff or dust as possible. This process will improve the quality of pet food ingredients and ensure that your fifty-pound bag is completely filled with your product, not with chaff or dust. It will make it easier to track inventory accurately when you know that a 50-pound bag of corn Gluten is actually fifty pounds.
