The Wyeth – Tootle Manor is a historic house located at 11th & Charles sts. William M. Wyeth constructed it in 1879. The Gothic design was created by Eckel and Mann Architects. They gathered ideas from their European travels and built the mansion in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion consists of three floors and a tower. The house contains more than 40 rooms. The interior is decorated with beautiful woodwork, handpainted ceilings, and imported stain glass. It is possible to see what it was like living in the 19th century. The Wyeth–Tootle Mansion can be found near St. Joseph in Missouri.
