Historic mansion, the Wyeth-Tootle Manor is located at 11th & Charles sts. William M. Wyeth built it in 1879. It was designed in Gothic style by Eckel and Mann Architects. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion has three floors, and a tower. There are more than 40 rooms inside the house. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights. You can experience life in the late 19th-century. The Wyeths-Tootle Mansion, located in downtown St. Joseph is a great place to visit.
