The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth constructed it in 1879. The Gothic design was created by Eckel and Mann Architects. The family's European travels led to many ideas for the mansion that was built in 1883. The Tootles lived here until 1887, when the property was sold.
The mansion includes three floors and one tower. The house is home to more than 40 rooms. The interior is decorated with beautiful woodwork, handpainted ceilings, and imported stain glass. He was also the president of St. Joseph Hardware Company which he owned and managed.
