The Wyeth – Tootle Manor is a historic house located at 11th & Charles sts. William M. Wyeth built it in 1879. It was designed in Gothic style by Eckel and Mann Architects. They gathered ideas from their European travels and built the mansion in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. The house contains more than 40 rooms. Beautiful woodwork, hand-painted ceilings and imported stained windows are all part of the interior. It is possible to see what it was like living in the 19th century. The Wyeth–Tootle Mansion is found in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Wyeth-Tootle Mansion is located near downtown St. Joseph, Missouri. He also served the presidency of the St. Joseph Hardware Company.
